
A passionate change agent, innovator, and social entrepreneur, Shweta has dedicated over a decade to building awareness on critical issues such as sexual harassment, education, health, hygiene, and gender inclusivity. With extensive experience in corporate compliance for POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) and a strong background in legal advocacy, she has worked closely with organizations like the Thane Anti-Human Trafficking Unit and IJM India, leading rescue, rehabilitation, and awareness initiatives.
Bringing expertise from law, psychology, and public administration, she has successfully conducted numerous training programs, workshops, and legal awareness camps covering key legislations such as the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act (2013), Domestic Violence Act (2005), and Immoral Traffic Prevention Act (1956). Her work extends to some of Maharashtra’s most underdeveloped rural areas, empowering women and children through legal aid and education.
A firm believer in experiential learning, Shweta has also applied innovative teaching methodologies, including the Multiple Intelligence Theory, to enhance student engagement. Shweta’s interdisciplinary approach—blending humanities and science—helps individuals and organizations break gender stereotypes and build inclusive environments.
Holding an LLM in Access to Justice from TISS, Mumbai, and multiple certifications in Development Communication, Dance Movement Therapy, and Sexual Harassment Law, she continue to drive impactful change through strategic training and advocacy.
